What’s Hot
- Mahesh Babu’s performance can be rated as one of the best in his career and his looks & accessories for this movie augurs well with his rockstar character. The fashion designer who chose Mahesh’s costumes deserves a definite mention.
- Kriti Sanon couldn’t have found a better movie to make her debut and the director has extracted a praiseworthy performance from this debutante. Shouldn’t be a surprise if she grabs many more challenging films in the near future.
- DSP’s music is for the racy song lovers. ‘Who are you’ & ‘Aww Tuzo Mogh Kortha’ are definite chart-busters. R.Rathnavelu’s camera speaks volumes and gives cinematography a whole new dimension. The scenes in Goa deserve a distinctive mention.
- Sukumar and his team have to be complimented for executing a complex script in a near-immaculate fashion. The unforeseen plot twist right at the start and in the scenes involving Nassar, Pradeep Rawat & Kelly Dorjee take story-telling to a whole new level. It truly is a breakaway from the stereotype commercial movies of the Telugu movie industry.
What’s Not
- The dragging scenes in the first-half take the pace out of a movie that starts with a dramatic murder sequence. Also, the scenes after the climax tussle could have been trimmed or better presented.
- The mind-bending screenplay might just not be everyone’s cup of tea and hence the film may struggle to sustain in the B & C centers.
