What’s Hot
- The VFX work in the movie done by Blue Sky Studios is stupendous! We are in for a visual treat of the beauty of the Amazon rain forests with its flora and fauna conceived & depicted by Carlos Saldanha like in real-life.
- John Powell’s background score and the music of the movie are a treat to the ears & gels beautifully with the visual content.
- Like in any top class animation film, there are a lot of laughable and enjoyable moments in the screenplay.
- The dialogues of the movie are well written. The dubbing given by Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway & others deserves a special mention for the apt modulations & tones of voice used.
What’s Not
- Comparisons with its prequel Rio are inevitable; In that tussle, Rio-2 doesn’t go one step above its former namesake.
