Naalu Policeum Nalla Irundha Oorum (Tamil, 2015)
“Naalu Policeum Nalla irundha oorum” on the outside, can look to be quite the typical comedy based commercial movies that we are used to see in Tamil Cinema, but has quite something different to offer if we care to look closely, especially with the kind of climax it features. A definite offering of enjoyable laughs, this is one quirkily funny movie that you won’t regret watching!
Charles Shaffiq Karthiga (Tamil, 2015)
CSK comes as a neatly written thriller film that makes the viewing experience enjoyable even as a better screenplay could have filled in the otherwise impenetrable effort made by the crew. Though there are some questionable sections in the film, on the whole, it is a commendable job done by the cast and crew.
India Pakistan (Tamil, 2015)
In spite of the various flaws of an average screenplay, India Pakistan manages to pull it off all thanks to the weight of the performances given by M. S. Bhaskar and Pasupathy. Though not made in a way as to shatter records, it is one of those watchable movies that fills-in the less celebrated weekends.
Papanasam (Tamil, 2015)
We live in an age where family-oriented movies are hardly on display and very rarely a selling commodity. But once in a while, there comes out a torch-bearer of a movie that reminds everyone that you do not need a hero with six-pack abs or skimpily-clad heroines to define a winning formula -Papanasam is one such wonder, a complete family entertainer made with loads of passion! Now that’s enough reason not to miss this impressive movie!
Yaagavarayinum Naa Kaakka (Tamil, 2015)
‘Yaagavarayinum Naa Kaaka’ is a movie with a decent core story on friendship faced with unfortunate circumstances, which is provided a topsy-turvy treatment. In one line, YNK is an extrapolated on-screen depiction of Superstar Rajni’s popular dialogue: 'Anger is the cause of all miseries; one should know how to control it. Otherwise life would become miserable' – A bittersweet presentation at that!
