Rajkumar lands up in a village ruled by two rival drug barons and sides with one among them. He goes about his job using a lot of brawn and a bit of brain. Typically he falls madly in love with Chanda from the rival gang in the most filmy manner possible. Post the interval, he has to destroy the drug barons and the Malaysian kingpin who controls them to get Chanda’s hand.

What’s Hot
- Shahid Kapoor as Rajkumar, totally submits to the demands of this commercial potboiler. His body language, dance, and overall performance is splendid. He oozes confidence even while mouthing lame dialogues like ‘Silent Hoja Varna Mein Violent Ho Jaunga’. Not many can pull off this role like Shahid has done in this film.
- The songs from Pritam such as Gandi Baat, Saree Ke Fall Sa and Dhokha Dhadi are delightful to watch with Shahid and Sonakshi performing ably.
What’s Not
- The plot and most of the scenes in the movie are a repetition of things that one would have seen in countless other commercial movies. The well-choreographed songs are poorly positioned as just fillers.
- Prabhu Deva has been credited with the story of the movie but you wonder what’s so unique about it. He has flourished as a remake director on many occasions but has faltered big time with this original creation of his!
- Sonakshi Sinha’s character is poorly written especially in the early part of the movie where her infant-level IQ irritates the audience. One wonders why an actress who can select and act in scripts like ‘Lootera’ needs to act in films like ‘Bullett Raja’ and ‘Rambo Rajkumar’ where there is very limited scope to perform.
