What’s Hot

  • Saif Ali Khan carries immense style and attitude, and rocks as Raja. His flowing locks, great agility in stunts, costumes and stylish shades add an extra edge to his character.
  • Jimmy Shergill nails yet another performance and he is top class. The chemistry between Saif and Jimmy carries the film and it reminds us of the Mani Ratnam yesteryear classic, Thalapathi.
  • Vidyut Jammwal leaves you asking for more and it’s hard to hate this man! The likes of Ravi Kishan, Chunkey Pandey and Gulshan Grover are convincing in their little roles.
  • The dialogues in the movie are a real asset and they have enough punch for the actors deliver them in style. The BGM is also appreciable, gelling well with the UP based story.
  • As the title proclaims, the film is full of action scenes dominated by bullets. Particularly, some of the chases are a treat to the senses.
  • The movie, though predictable, doesn’t have many lag moments. The star power and the dramatic screenplay keep us engaged throughout.

What’s Not

  • There is nothing new in Tigmanshu’s script and the overdose of politics is a downer.
  • Vidyut Jammwal, an action hero par excellence has been underused. How you wish he had been there throughout the movie.
  • The glowing and luscious Sonakshi Sinha has nothing to do, save tagging along with Saif in a few scenes and songs.
  • Among the songs, the title track alone stands out with the other numbers being below average.

The director of 'Paan Singh Tomar' promised more but the simple & predictable script does ensure a mass entertainer that will surely rake in the moolah.
