Mardaani (Hindi, 2014)
Mardaani is definitely not for the ‘Chulbul Pandey’ and ‘Bajirao Singham’ junkies, but for those who want the pleasure of watching a nice and powerful cop flick without the superfluous elements. This is absolutely worth a trip to the theatres.
Megha (Tamil, 2014)
Megha remains true to its name, at being a murky attempt to mix a potentially successful love story with mystery thriller ingredients to deliver a poorly executed movie which simply does not do enough to interest this impatient age!
Irumbu Kuthirai (Tamil, 2014)
With a good one-liner & interesting setting, Irumbu Kuthirai could have become a trend-setting action flick but the lack of a cohesive & engaging script prevents it from becoming so and it ends sadly on a whimper.
Salim (Tamil, 2014)
Salim is one among us; a model citizen who wants to show the world that there is nothing one shouldn’t do to remain true to one’s nature. For that he undergoes a makeover which makes for a truly gripping and engaging experience bundled with loads of classy and sizzling moments!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (English, 2014)
This is indeed a completely revamped version of the Ninjas that we were used to watching in the 90’s. Yet, it isn’t quite the best either as we can sit back and enjoy the lively moments while trying hard to pass muster over the not so interesting pieces of the presentation.
