Biopics in general take the dramatic side and end up on most occasions as tear-jerkers. However, the Masterful Robert Zemeckis surprises us all in ‘The Walk’ by basing his film on one act of daredevilry by a wire walker never taking the path of melodrama, but slowly building up to the moment using technology to the hilt and banking on some fabulous writing & acting to bring out the humane side of such an inhuman insane attempt at glory.

Southpaw (English, 2015)

Southpaw is all about a boxer who does not know how to defend, becomes an undisputed undefeated world champion and loses it when he loses the most prized possession of his life. If you are able to conceive how he recovers to learn defense in his final push for success, this movie is for you, but otherwise, its just a wild swing that misses the target!

Kingsman has heroes who are classy & perform action at ease, has a conniving villain who can send the world into a whirl with his ideas. It has other elements in it to fall into the action genre of spy-thrillers.If only, the basis for the villain & the treatment of climax were better!

Jurassic World (English, 2015)

There is a difference between a good looking movie and a good movie. If the first installment of this franchise fits into the latter, the current one fits the former. Though it often deviate towards its original and sometimes loses it, it’s not a mindless copy – it’s simply mindless entertainment! This is definitely a big-budget blockbuster - It's loud, thrilling, and full of extreme sequences that will engage the audience.
