What’s Hot

  • The screenplay of the movie has been written crisply. As it is based on a a bestseller story from Chetan Bhagat, the weight of expectation needs the screenplay to just stick to the story. Abhishek Varman, the director, has done just that.
  • The actors have performed their roles very well. Alia Bhatt deserves special mention for portraying her role brilliantly. Arjun Kapoor has given her able company.
  • The cinematography of Binod Pradhan has given life to the movie with a wonderful picturisation of the IIM A life .
  • Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy live up to their billing as a top music direction combine giving fancy tunes as well as hummers.

What’s Not

  • Even though the dialogues in Hindi were enjoyable, the dialogues in Tamil, which the story required, was not done that well.
